An analysis of the cause of hacking accidents in 2020 shows that the largest proportion of credential stuffing attacks was through pre-stolen accounts with 23%.

Subsequently, accidents caused by missing RDP access control accounted for 19%, and accidents caused by missing DB access control and missing SMTP access control accounted for 8% and 4% respectively.

In addition, 4 percent of accidents occurred due to the lack of data encryption or unnecessary external exposure with DB access control.

Attention is required as such various cases of account theft are reported often.
